ADAMHS Boards’ Community Plans Available on OhioMHAS Website

The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) recently published the Ohio ADAMHS Boards’ Community Assessment Plans (CAP) on their website.

Under a new requirement, local ADAMHS boards must submit a community plan every three years to the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS). These plans must describe the current conditions and issues in their regions as well as their identified priorities for treatment and recovery support services and prevention services. The new CAP process is designed to better support policy development, funding allocation decisions, data collection, and strategic planning both at the state and community level.

Interested parties and stakeholders are invited to review community plans within their service areas to better understand the strategic vision for their regions, so they can align organizational planning to meet the individual needs of each community. Stakeholders who would like additional information about the content presented in your region’s CAPs are encouraged to reach out to their ADAMHS Boards.
