Behavioral Health Juvenile Justice (BHJJ) Initiative RFP
The Ohio Departments of Youth Services and Mental Health and Addiction Services are pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Behavioral Health Juvenile Justice (BHJJ) initiative. The intent of this effort is to enhance and expand the local systems of care options for youth who have serious behavioral healthcare needs and who are involved in, or at risk for involvement in, the juvenile justice system. It is expected that the projects funded through this initiative will engage in significant and purposeful coordination between the juvenile courts, the ADAMH Boards, and local service provider. Proposals should be responsive to the needs expressed by the families and youth receiving services. A virtual bidder’s conference has been planned for March 6 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Final proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. on May 1, 2023.
