Medicaid Provider Network Management (PNM) Module Training
In preparation for the October 1, 2022, launch of the new Provider Network Management (PNM) module, ODM has been offering a variety of trainings for providers to understand the new system and prepare for the first phase of the transition to the PNM. Absorb, the Learning Management System (LMS), is where the trainings and resources can be accessed. You must create an account in the LMS to ensure you have access to all training sessions, answer forms, and PNM resources in advance. Behavioral Health Organizations will sign up using the following link https://ohiopnm.myabsorb.com?KeyName=bhorgprovider. Providers may also want to access trainings for individual BH providers. You must reach out to Maximus and ask them to add the BH individual provider courses. [email protected].
The Ohio Council strongly encourages members to take advantage of the learning platform offered by ODM and make use of the various resources available in the platform. Included below are training resources and manuals that are available in the LMS, these are current as of this newsletter, but we encourage you to retrieve them directly from the LMS in the future to ensure you have the most current version.
An OH|ID is required to access the PNM October 1st. However, this is only necessary for staff who need access to the PNM (staff that currently require access to MITS will need an OH|ID to access the same features in the PNM). Although only the provider enrollment and credentialing components of MITS are transitioning to the PNM on October 1st, remaining functionalities of MITS, such as eligibility verification, will direct from the PNM to MITS. Effective 10/1, providers will not have direct access to MITS, but will need to login to the PNM for remaining MITS functionalities, which will also be transitioned to the PNM in the next phase starting 12/1/22.
