OhioMHAS Leadership Changes

Alisia Clark, Assistant Director of Community Planning and Collaboration, will be retiring from OhioMHAS at the end of this year. Alisia has provided 32 years of service and leadership that has helped shape the community behavioral health system.  We thank Alisia for her passion, dedication, and service and wish her well in her next adventures. 

OhioMHAS has subsequently announced that Jaime Carmichael will be rejoining the OhioMHAS team as the next Assistant Director of Community Planning and Collaboration. Jamie’s strong public health strategic planning experience to our leadership team. Previously our Deputy Director of Public Affairs, she joined the Ohio Department of Health in 2020 in her current position as Chief Health Opportunity Advisor for the state of Ohio. In this role, she has been instrumental in establishing the new Office of Health Opportunity and leading work to eliminate population level health disparities and focus the state’s resources on communities with the highest levels of need. We look forward to working with Jaime as she returns to OhioMHAS.

Additionally, OhioMHAS recently announced the appointment of Jordan Knipper as the new State Opioid Treatment Administrator (SOTA).  Jordan has a master’s degree in mental health counseling, is a LICDC and LPCC, and comes with experience in SUD withdrawal management and treatment.  He most recently served as the Director of Stabilization Services for Maryhaven, here in Columbus.  His email is [email protected].
