SAMHSA Releases Publications Supporting Recovery

The Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) has released publications designed to address unique recovery needs in rural communities; empower individuals navigating behavioral health services; and expand the adoption of recovery-oriented services and supports in state, local, and community behavioral health settings.

These documents help diverse behavioral health system stakeholders to inform and provide resources that reduce the stigma people in recovery face when navigating their own journey of recovery and promote equitable access to recovery supports nationwide.
