OhioMHAS Crisis Task Force

The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction (OhioMHAS) reconvened the Crisis Task Force in November to provide an update on 988, the inclusion of crisis services in the new Community Assessment Plan, and the plan for continued work to develop the definitions and requirements for crisis services in Ohio.  The BH Crisis Landscape Analysis Report is pending review and approval and will be released in the future. The Crisis Task Force will begin work to review and approve the crisis continuum services and lexicon definitions. The interim crisis continuum is outlined on slide 18 and current terms and certification requirements are outlined in this document. The CTF will use a similar committee process to review and approve the lexicon and definitions as was conducted earlier this year. Please review these services and definitions and let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or would be interested in participating in future committee work to further advance the crisis continuum in Ohio.
